Busy, Busy, Busy!!!
Well, I can finally take a breath. Wooh! The last three weeks have been busy. If work wasn't hectic enough, add in a social schedule and VBS, and I am worn out just thinking about it.
First, our family celebrated my brother's birthday on Memorial weekend with a trip to The Kemp's Lake House. After Tamra broke me in on the rocket, I couldn't walk for a week. I am sure not getting any younger. (but I will always be the baby) We got lots of sun, water and good food, with are great new friends. Best of all we were able to celebrate Paul's birthday all together.

The next Friday we celebrated Tyler's 5th birthday at Jumping Party. He had a blast despite several injuries. He decided on a Police themed party, with a Ft Worth Police car cake. As usual Lisa out did herself with an amazing cake.

VBS started on Sunday night. It was an Island theme, and their motto was Know the Truth, Speak the Truth, Live the Truth. All Tyler said all week was "I LOVE VBS" over and over. On the last night Tyler rode the bus with his class to Eagle Crest (an assisted living home) and they sang for the residents. Later that night they performed the songs they learned for the parents. Tyler had to be able to see me on stage, and waved and blew kisses more than he sang. Priceless!

The timer works! Tyler and I posing with Mr. Snowman.I love snow days. It is the only time we can spend all day together without any interuptions, and I can cook from scratch every meal. Sooo relaxing!

I am starting this blog only at the encouragement of a new friend who I hope is here to stay. I have read her blog and found encouragement in Christ, and realized I am not alone in my struggles. Although I will attempt to journal, don't hold your breath that it will be anywhere as eloquent as her. Some have the gift to express in words what is in there heart, but I am just not one of them. But, I will definitely try to post lots of pictures and narrate as best as possible.
